Aperture handle polythene bags...economical, biodegradable carriers

Aperture handle bags (or punched-out handle bags) are an attractive, user-friendly and cost-effective solution for your promotional marketing.

Polythene options

Choose from white or a wide range of other polythene colours, plus clear plastic (we advise printing on one side only for this material) and frosted plastic. We supply patch handle bags as standard (ie the handle area is reinforced with a welded patch) but we can supply varigauge bags on request (where the polythene is thicker at the top of the bag, where the handle is located). We use 190-gauge polythene as standard, although other thicknesses are available on request.

Sizes

Our standard sizes for aperture handle bags are 14 x 18 x 3 inches (360 x 457 x 89 mm) or 15 x 18 x 3 inches (390 x 457 x 89 mm). Other sizes – both smaller and larger – can be quoted on request.

Print options

You can print on just one side or both sides of your aperture handle bag. We can match to any Pantone colour, but bear in mind that it is not advisable to print certain colours onto some dark polythene colours – please ask us for advice. Although printing in four spot colours is quite straightforward, four-colour designs in CMYK on polythene are much more complex and the stereos required to produce them are quite expensive.

Minimum order quantity

The minimum quantity for your punched-out handle bag order is 1000.

Our custom-printed plastic carrier bags are supplied in 2 to 3 weeks but orders can be fast-tracked on request.
